Sample conditioning

Typical sample conditioning system components.

Efficient production in industries such as Cement, Steel, Fertilizers, and Oil & Gas relies heavily on energy optimization and consistently high product quality. The growing adoption of alternative fuels through co-incineration to replace primary fuels underscores the need for continuous process monitoring. Advanced analytical systems are essential, not only to ensure operational efficiency but also to meet stringent emission regulations. When safety is non-negotiable, only proven solutions will do. Renowned for its proven reliability, ADAGE is the trusted choice for numerous industry leaders.

Sample probe

The first component of the sample conditioning system, where the system taps into the process line.

Dust / moisture / acid removal filters

Used to remove residual dust, moisture and acid from the sample before it is fed to the analyzer.

Scavenging systems

Depending on dust load, probes may be fitted with filters; a scavenging system is required to keep these filters clean.

Heated & non-heated sample lines

These lines transport the sample from the tapping point to the analyzer system.

Gas cooler

Used for removing moisture from the sample.

Flow monitors

To measure the flow of sample gas to the analyzer.

Calibration cylinders

Depending on analyzer type, cylinders are used for verification and calibration of the analyzer system.

Vortex cooler

Depending on analyzer requirements and ambient conditions, the system may need to be placed in an actively cooled enclosure.

Analyzer shelters & HVAC

Small to large analyzer shelters, including experience building up to 20 meters, with Ex 1 / Ex 2 in-house built HVAC.
